Converters for Infrastructure
We develop, design, manufacture and maintain trackside power electronic converters for substations. They are fed with energy from overhead line (25 kV, 50 Hz over transformer or 3 kVDC). Their main function is to supply various loads in substations – power supply for integrated lighting and information systems, railway signaling and protection systems, etc. This enables supplying of consumers in periods of power outage from the distribution network i.e. supplying of consumers in areas where no distribution network is available at site.
