Embedded Hardware Developer (m/f)

We are hiring embedded hardware engineer in the development of complex industrial electronic devices (m/f).
The ideal candidate has a pronounced interest and passion for hardware in industrial electronic devices applied in area of Energy and a desire for continuous development and increase of his/her competencies.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and design of complex hardware for electronic devices
  • Testing hardware components and prototypes
  • Analyzing the performance of existing hardware
  • Participation in maintenance and optimization of existing hardware
  • Collaboration with software developers or system engineers
  • Collaboration with team leaders or project managers in defining technical solutions
  • Writing technical specifications and descriptions, test specifications and procedures and other necessary documentation

Qualifications

  • You have a B.Sc./Master’s in Electrical Engineering
  • You have 3+ years of experience in HW design
  • You speak and write English fluently
  • You have a strong knowledge of embedded system architecture, analog and digital electronics

  • You have experience with UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, RS232/RS485, CAN bus, Ethernet
  • Ensure that you also have experience with design of PCB with 4+ layers according to IPC standards and PCB stack-up definition
  • You effectively use tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, waveform generator, soldering etc.
  • You have strong analytical capabilities and interpersonal skills
  • Finally yet importantly, you are a team player, who is both flexible and creative in approach to problem solving in a cross-functional teamwork environment

Other skills and knowledge which can you bring closer to this job but are not mandatory

  • Work in Altium Designer application
  • Experience in signal integrity analysis
  • Basic knowledge of Linux, Bash and Phyton

  • Experience with CPLD or FPGA (HW and SW)
  • Knowledge of industrial electronic devices and systems

Type of employment

  • Permanent employment with a trial period of up to 6 months
