Reconstruction of the DC power supply system in SS 110/35 kV Blato

Last month, KONČAR – Electronics and Informatics has successfully completed the final factory acceptance test of the DC power supply system for HOPS – Split (Croatian TSO, subsidiary Split), SS 110/35 kV Blato.

The contract includes reconstruction of the main 220 V power supply system and two 48 V systems designated to supply telecommunication devices, local and remote signalization.

Reconstruction was designed in a way that three separate systems have to be replaced by only ones having three different voltage outputs. It means that for 48 V is not foreseen any additional rectifiers or batteries. The reliable power source will be only 220 V bus bars, while 48 V voltages will be obtain using redundant DC/DC converters.

The 220 V power supply system is the standard type for HV transmission transformer stations: KONIS-B 220 V, 40 A. And it will supply electric drives of the HV and MV breakers, control, protection, signalization and the emergency lighting.

Equipment manufacturing, factory acceptance test, installation on the site, cable laying, testing on the site, selectivity testing between circuit breakers, commissioning and issuing of as built documentation are included in the scope of contract.

Delivery of equipment and site works are scheduled to be performed in April.
